Understanding & Communicating Climate Change 101

Climate change can be a difficult concept to understand and discuss. However, the earth’s rising temperatures have, and will continue to have, an impact on all of us. During this webinar we’ll hear from professor, geologist, and climate scientist Dr. David Harwood, who has worked many years in Antarctica leading small tent-based field-teams and large international drilling projects, and who teaches students at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln about many of the topics to be covered during this webinar. We’ll learn the science behind climate change and why Dr. Harwood believes empowering people with knowledge and demystifying climate change myths is a key step in tackling the climate change challenges ahead.
