Trees For All Seasons! In Person Early Childhood Educator Workshop
Cold weather? Environmental education is snow problem with Project Learning Tree! Join us as we learn how to engage early learners in environmental education utilizing a unit of sensory-focused activities from Project Learning Tree. Learn about forests and how they change in Nebraska during the winter. We will focus our time in this workshop on connecting each lesson to the winter season as well as spend additional time discussing tips and tricks for continuing environmental education during the cold winter months. This workshop is in person will take place at Prairie Pines Nature Preserve located in Lincoln, Nebraska. Participants will receive certificates for 3 in-service hours for childcare licensing, PLT curriculum, and the hands-on knowledge to implement activities in their educational setting.

November 21st, 2021; 2-5 PM
For childcare specialists, prek-2 classroom teachers, and environmental education enthusiasts!
Cost is $12 per person.
