CE: Snowy Saturday Series: Winter Birding

Saturday, January 8, 2022
9:00 am10:00 am

While many birds migrate south in the fall, there are several species of birds that stick around through Nebraska’s harsh winter. Join the Nebraska Game and Parks Education Specialist, Amanda Filipi on Saturday, January 8th for a free, family-friendly virtual workshop about winter birding. She will present live from Wildcats Hills Nature Center, next to cameras showing off beautiful birds enjoying the bird feeders. Register for the Winter Birding Program through Zoom (OutdoorNebraska.Zoom.US) to participate in the workshop.
With a cup coffee in hand and cozy slippers on one’s feet, outdoor enthusiasts can learn or improve their outdoors skills thanks to the education series, the Snowy Saturday Series. Join us on Facebook for year two of the program, which will being January 8 and run through February.
