VO: Volunteers NEEDED for Pheasant Fest!
Nebraska Game and Parks is looking for volunteers to help run some educational activities in the Youth Village at the annual National Pheasant Fest happening this year in Omaha, NE at the CHI Health Center Friday March 11- Sunday March 13.
The Education Division is looking for volunteers to run a staffed activity- Mammal Skulls & Pelts. This will be an activity where students, children, families, adults, etc. will come to visit and not only touch and feel the different mammal skulls and pelts on display, but also try to match the pictures of the animals to the pelts and skulls. All supplies will be furnished by Game and Parks, we are simply looking for a few volunteers to work in shifts. Please see below for details.
What: Looking for 3 volunteers to run a mammal skulls and pelts station in the youth village of Pheasant Fest to work in 3 hour or longer shifts if you so choose
When: Saturday March 12 from 9am-12pm; 12pm-3pm; 3pm-6pm- volunteer and parking passes will be supplied as well
Volunteers please email monica.macoubrie@nebraska.gov with your name and shift on Saturday that you would like to work, or if you have any other questions or concerns. Masks may be required- depending on the Omaha city Directed Health Measure at the time. As we know things are constantly changing and we will keep you up to date with the most current safety measures.
