CE: The Drought Resilience of Groundwater

Thursday, March 24, 2022
6:00 pm7:00 pm
Online

Streams in the Loup River basin are sensitive to groundwater withdrawals because of the close hydrologic connection between groundwater and surface water.
Join Conservation Nebraska as we hear from Chris Hobza, Lead Hydrologist, P.G. with the U.S. Geological Survey. Chris will be presenting findings from a study conducted in partnership with the Upper Loup and Lower Loup NRDs and the Nebraska Environmental Trust on the drought resilience of groundwater discharge in the South Loup River (more information in the event discussion)!
