“Uncommon but Treemendous Trees for Nebraska”
By Greg Morgenson, March 29th in McCook and March 31st in Lincoln
Sponsored by the Nebraska Statewide Arboretum and Common Scents Nursery in McCook

Anyone interested in learning about uncommon and underutilized trees for Nebraska should plan to attend one of these presentations by Greg Morgenson. Greg is a former Nebraskan and retired tree propagator and researcher with North Dakota State University. He has over 40 years of experience exploring and growing trees across the Great Plains and he’ll take everyone on an entertaining journey of some of the trees that have caught his attention over the years and that he thinks we should be growing more of. You’ll be amazed what we can grow.

These presentations are FREE but limited to 40 in-person attendees each location so please sign up online to save a spot:
• March 29 in McCook, 1-2:30pm at the Red Willow County Fairgrounds community building - https://go.unl.edu/treesmccook
• March 31 in Lincoln, 6:30-8pm at UNL East Campus Union (Prairie Suite)- https://go.unl.edu/treeslincoln
Online Attendance Option: If you can’t attend in person, an online attendance (Zoom) option will be available for the Lincoln presentation. To sign up for online attendance, please send an email request to me at: jevertson1@unl.edu.

FYI - These presentations will follow tree grafting workshops that Greg will be leading in the mornings on same days. It’s not too late to register for either of those workshops but space is limited so sign up soon (see links below). Cost is $25 and more information is provided on the attached flier.
