The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission is seeking volunteers for a fun, family-focused event taking place next week at Omaha’s Benson Park. We are looking for passionate people who want to share their love of nature and the outdoors with diverse communities.

Benson Park Family Nature Night

Thursday, May 26, 2022

Set-up at 4pm, event from 5-8pm

Volunteers needed: 10

We will be having several stations including:

Kayaking
Fishing
S’mores
Wildlife Track Booklets
CSI (critter scene investigations)
Decomposing Dig
BioBlitz
Skulls and pelts of Nebraska wildlife
Sidewalk chalk
Smells of Nature

There will also be food trucks there, so there is an opportunity to try some amazing food! Food Trucks include: Jillie Dawgz & Dots, X Factor BBQ, Best Burger.

What Information Do We Collect?
