Cunningham Lake Wetland Exploration Summer Program

Help students learn to fish and explore wetland biodiversity at Cunningham Lake in Omaha! Nebraska Game & Parks Commission is facilitating a half day Wetland Exploration educational program with rotating sessions from 9am to 12pm on June 14, June 22, and July 15. Each date we’ll lead three middle school student groups (15 or less in each group) through various wetland activities, including fishing, macro dipping, kayaking, and aquatic animals. We’re looking for volunteers to help lead fishing and macro invertebrate dipping. If you’re interested in volunteering, please click the link below to sign up, or contact Amber Schiltz at amber.schiltz@nebraska.gov or 402-310-6137.

Thank you for your time!
