Pollinator Week 2023
Help celebrate the diversity and importance of Nebraska's pollinators during Pollinator Week!
Save the Date: Pollinator Week will take place from June 19- 25, 2023.
Pollinator Week is a 7-day celebration across North America. Here in Nebraska, we make a special effort to promote and share our love and excitement for pollinators. Each year, Nebraska Game and Parks hosts "Nebraska Pollinator Week", recruiting interested organizations across the state to register and host one or more pollinator themed event during this fun week. In return, we promote Pollinator Week in the state, help promote your event on social media, and send you special pollinator week materials to share out at your event!
Events can be big or small. Anything from hosting a pollinator themed storytime, offering a bee related craft at your center, to planning a full blown pollinator festival- all efforts are appreciated! In addition, we will once again be hosting our statewide Pollinator Week Blitz on iNaturalist to record pollinator observations throughout the state. Tying your event to this community science opportunity is an easy (but not required)! Please reach out if you have questions about what this could look like.
