Prairie Pines Nature Preserve Celebrates Earth Day Every Day – What on Earth Can We Do? 1 PM – 4 PM
We are on this earth together! Activities help us to understand this incredible place we call home and those we share it with. Children can learn about habitat and make wildflower seed balls to take home. Information about climate change will be available. Prairie Pine’s trails and Nature Ninja course are open to the public from 8 AM – 5 PM on the “Second Saturday” of the month. Children must be accompanied by adults. No pets please. Please visit prairiepines.org for more information.
We are also in need of naturalists to volunteer at our Welcome Center on all Saturdays and Sundays to provide information and interpretation about Prairie Pines and its habitat. The Welcome Center will be open from 9 AM - 5 PM. Half and whole days volunteers are needed.
