Iain Nicolson Audubon Center at Rowe Sanctuary 44450 Elm Island Road Gibbon, NE 68840

Join Rowe Sanctuary staff and other volunteers for this evening presentation by Kristal Stoner, Executive Director of Audubon Nebraska, on Thursday, May 16th, from 6pm to 8pm. Meet Kristal and find out more about the work Audubon is doing throughout the state of Nebraska to help birds and other wildlife. Rowe will provide a light barbeque meal with burgers and brats. Volunteers are welcome to bring a side dish or desert to share, but it's not necessary. Kristal's presentation is entitled:
Audubon Nebraska: Spreading Wings in a Changing World
After a year of extreme flooding in Nebraska, how do we expect birds to cope, adapt or thrive? How will birds in Nebraska respond to extreme droughts? We will explore predictions for birds in Nebraska and how they will respond to a changing climate and discuss Audubon's role to increase habitat resiliency.
