CE: Wildwood Star Party in NE City
Join local astronomers on Sept. 7th for an evening under the stars. Telescopes from area astronomy clubs will be set up on the golf course just south of the Wildwood Historic Center parking lot. Starting anytime after 8:00 p.m. get an amazing view of the night sky. A special treat is seeing the moon through the 1850’s telescope from the Wildwood collection. Great event for families and it is FREE!!!!
Take a turn yourself looking through telescopes at the night sky. Ella Ware (who called Wildwood home) saw Arcturus in the mid 1800’s. You can see it too at the Wildwood Star Party on Saturday, September 7th, starting at 8pm!
Lots of telescopes & lots of information. Join the Wildwood Historic Center staff and astronomers for a night under the stars to learn more about the night sky.
