Spring and its morel mushrooms get all the limelight, but hard-core nature enthusiasts in Nebraska know that autumn rains deliver a mushroom bounty in the woods that’s far more diverse, robust and rewarding.

Come join us at Indian Cave State Park for a beginning class in Fall fungi foraging. Come learn from Nebraska’s Fungus expert on what exactly mushrooms are, where to find them, which ones are edible, and what all Nebraska has to offer.

No previous knowledge required. This workshop will be mostly outside- in a park shelter. Please dress for the weather- rain or shine.

**State Park permit required for this event. These can be purchased the day of the event or prior to.
