Archery Range and Instructor Training for Beginners

Target Audience:
Master Naturalist, Game and Parks Staff, past Becoming an Outdoors-Woman participants and any individual wanting to help connect people to the great outdoors and the thrill of archery through organized agency events.
Summary and Objectives:
This hands-on workshop will cover the basics of archery shooting, equipment, safe range setup, new archer instruction (of all ages), how to maintain a comfortable and safe archery range.
Upon completion, participants will:
• have confidence in personal archery skills;
• be able to effectively instruct new archers of all ages;
• set-up and operate a safe archery range;
• and become familiar with archery equipment used in agency programs.
